Dr. Suzanne Levine, D.P.M. and author of “My Feet Are Killing Me,” shares methods to relieve pain in your feet. She explains foot massage techniques and how to locate pressure points. The podiatrist also fields questions submitted to “Home & Family” on Facebook. She responds to topics concerning injections to treat arthritis, adding cushioning to the soles of your feet, how to treat heel spurs, arch support, and the hereditary component of corns. Plus, Dr. Levine describes how a contrast bath or numbing spray can alleviate pain associated with chemo therapy.
Dr. Levine is also the inventor of the soft gel cushions, “Pillows For Your Feet”, inserts for men and women and every shoe style including high heels, stilettos, flats, and golf shoes for men and women. The provide pain relief and comfort from high arches and a variety of foot conditions, and allow women to responsibly wear stylish but sometimes uncomfortable shoes. Dr. Levine is available at her Park Avenue office for New York City patients, but offers up time tested advice in her book, “My Feet Are Killing Me” for patients unable to visit her office.
